Miles Abell

Associate

Miles Abell joined Cherry Petersen Albert in August of 2024 as an associate in our Litigation Section, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous role at the Texas Attorney General’s Office. During his four years there, Miles honed his skills in handling complex cases related to eminent domain, civil rights, and constitutional law, gaining significant litigation and trial experience.

Miles earned his B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in English from Washington and Lee University in 2014, where he was on the Men’s Tennis team and received the prestigious Chaffin Debate Award. He earned his J.D. from SMU’s Dedman School of Law, where he also served as a staff editor for The International Lawyer, a law review journal published by the International Law Review Association.

At Cherry Petersen Albert, Miles continues to build on his solid foundation of legal expertise, providing insightful and effective representation in a range of litigation matters.
